Vertical elevator for disabled persons in a self-supporting stainless-steel shaft

As part of the reconstruction of one of the polyclinics in Poltava, we supplied a shaft elevator for the disabled, which completely solved the problem of barrier-free environment in the medical institution.

We faced 2 difficult tasks:

1. To provide an elevator for a person in a wheelchair to the second floor of the polyclinic, which is more than 4 meters in height.
2. To place the elevator in conditions of small free space.

In order for an elevator with such an elevator height to comply with the state building regulations, it must necessarily have a guardrail or shaft. This guarantees the safety of the passenger. Our specialists designed and manufactured a vertical elevator made of stainless steel and a self-supporting shaft for it. The shaft itself is made of steel with tempered glass walls. Thanks to this configuration, it was possible to provide a simple and safe lift for people with disabilities to the second floor of the hospital, in full compliance with current building regulations.
