FORSTOR was contacted by its long-standing client, PUMB Bank, with another request to improve branch accessibility. This time, the task was to provide barrier-free access to one of the bank’s branches in Kyiv. The lift design also had to be adapted to the architectural features of the entrance area.
An inclined platform lift with a curved travel path is optimally suited to such space-constrained conditions. The platform moves along the wall and follows the corner as it rises. This configuration provides an effective solution for complex architectural conditions and makes it possible to ensure barrier-free access where standard lift designs are not suitable.
Another key feature of this inclined platform lift is its wireless control system. Remote control units allow the user to call the platform, unfold it, or fold it away at the touch of a button. This is a fully automated accessibility lift designed for simple and convenient everyday use.
The curved inclined platform lift for the bank branch was manufactured from polished stainless steel. The structure was installed on compact support posts neatly integrated into the staircase. This made it possible to preserve the decorative facade cladding intact.
