The Institute of Rheumatology in Kyiv faced the need to upgrade the lift for people with disabilities, as the existing equipment did not meet current safety and autonomy standards. This is critical for a medical facility where accessibility and safety for patients with disabilities is of paramount importance. Given these requirements, the institute turned to Forstor with the task of developing an autonomous lift with additional safety systems. And we have developed it.
The key feature of this lift is its autonomy, provided by a built-in rechargeable battery that allows the lift to be used in the event of a power outage. The safety frame and magnetic locks on the doors provide additional protection, preventing unwanted access or accidental opening of the doors while the lift is in operation. This approach not only ensured a high level of safety for users, but also provided the Institute with a modern and reliable solution that meets all the necessary standards of accessibility and comfort for visitors with special needs.
