Elevator for people with disabilities in a shopping center

One of our regular customers, the owner of commercial real estate in Zhytomyr, contacted us with a request to organize barrier-free access to one of his facilities — a shopping center.

To get from the lobby of the shopping center to the main corridor, it was necessary to climb a 2-meter-high staircase. A person in a wheelchair could not do this. To fix this, we designed and installed a vertical lift near the steps to the main corridor of the mall.

The elevator is marked with prominent signs and instructions for use. The controls for ascending and descending are intuitive. The platform fence is locked during the lift. If the doors are opened while the platform is moving, the safety system is activated and the platform stops until they are closed again.
