Inclined lift for a high-speed tram station

Number of lifts: 2 units.
Length of the track: 12,2 м
Autonomy: rechargeable batteries
Platform material: stainless steel

We were approached by a construction company that was engaged in the reconstruction of a high-speed tram station in Kyiv with the task of providing barrier-free access to the electric transport stop. Since, according to the current building codes, reconstructed public facilities must be accessible and inclusive, we offered a solution that would meet these requirements.

Taking into account the peculiarities of the site, in particular the complex trajectory of the stairs, we developed two inclined lifts with a stepped path. Each lift has a travel length of 12.2 meters and is equipped with rechargeable batteries for autonomous operation in case of power supply instability. The platforms are made of stainless steel and have the function of automatic folding of handrails and ramps, which provides additional comfort and safety during movement.
