FORSTOR implemented a large-scale project, designing and installing reinforced Profi racking systems for core storage.
The system is designed to hold up to 4,000 boxes with rock samples weighing up to 1,000 kg each.
The racks are over 11 m high and over 23 m long and have 10 storage tiers. The structure can withstand loads of up to 18 tons per section. Reinforced metal shelves, corner protection, and protective elements at the ends of the rows are also used for additional reliability.
The project has been certified by an independent laboratory and fully complies with the requirements of DSTU EN 15635.
