Our regular customer from Zhytomyr, a construction company, contacted us. They won a tender for the reconstruction of a hospital, including a bomb shelter. As part of this project, the task was to organize barrier-free access to the shelter for people in wheelchairs. The client turned to us with this task, having already had experience of cooperation.
Our specialist came to the site and took all the measurements. The flight of stairs has a complex descent path, including a turn, which complicated the project, but the optimal solution was found. We developed a system of three inclined lifts that allow a person in a wheelchair to descend into the bomb shelter by themselves.
The total length of the run of the elevators was more than 10.5 meters. The platforms are equipped with folding ramps that automatically rise when the fence is lowered, ensuring passenger safety.
